As the spreading of the novel coronavirus world widely, face to face business is greatly affected. Especially, the strict international travel bans stopped most important business activities including personnel sales and marketing which hit many companies badly. However, some of them turned to online showcase and resume their trade.
Mibet Energy, a Chinese solar PV structure, PV floating and tracker vendor, is one of them and expanded its business through comprehensive participation in online virtual exhibitions and conferences under the pandemic.
“We have joined several online events since this August and achieved good business results.” Said by Michelle Cao, Int’l Sales Director of Mibet Energy. “We are currently participating in the International Greentech & Eco Products Exhibition & Conference Malaysia (IGEM) 2020 and we have received substantive inquiries from local customers on this event.”
The IGEM was hosted by several Malaysian government departments related renewable energy and environmental protection including the Ministry of Environment and Water (KASA) of Malaysia, and designed as an ideal platform for solution providers and green energy businesses to tap into the fast expanding ASEAN market. Responding to the outbreak, IGEM 2020 moved to an online event, as most of other events do, to help industrial players to continue their business in another way.
Mibet prepared plenty of business information for this online platform to show its rack and tracker products and PV system supporting solutions, including MRac Smart Horizontal Single Axis Tracking Solar PV Mounting System, MRac Floating PV Mounting System G4N, MRac Bifacial Solar PV Mounting System, which attracted virtual visitors from all over the world. “During the four days online exhibition, we have collected significant leads and potential customers. I am really proud of what we have achieved.” Added by Michelle.
Another hot PV area of ASEAN is Vietnam which also turned to online event to help business continue. Endorsed by Vietnamese Technology Transfer Support Center and Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), the Vietnam Solar E-Expo 2020 was started from October 12th to November 10th. During this one month online exhibition, exhibitors from all over the world can make product presenting, brand promotion, one-on-one communication with potential customers through chat box, audio call and video call. Especially on October 27th and 28th, there will be two “Live Day” for direct online communication.
“Mibet is not a stranger of Vietnam Solar E-Expo and we have made lot of friends here on this great event. Actually Mibet participated as platinum sponsor this time and stand with Trina Solar and Solis to support this Vietnamese largest solar expo. As this year it went online because of the pandemic, we prepared an online live show at 06:00-06:30 (GMT), Oct. 27th for some valuable topics including the market trend of tracker, floating and bifacial solar in ASEAN region, ROI comparison for different solar projects, why supporting design is important to tracker, floating system and bifacial structure, and key points of supporting O&M of floating system.” Introduced by Michelle.
“We are waiting for all our present customers and potential customers to come to us during the E-Expo. Including the live topics, visitors can virtually tour our factory, and see our products in latest 3D technology. Let’s have a good time online!” said by Michelle.
