Mibet 17.5MW PV Metal Roof Project Reference

With the release of Plan to Improve the Double Control of Energy Consumption Intensity and Total Amount by National Development and Reform Commission, numerous provinces across China have adopted power rationing policy. Under this background, solar energy, as a clean and environmental-friendly renewable energy source, has received great attention from public. Building photovoltaic power station becomes the top priority for many enterprises to address the problem of electricity consumption.



Recently, the construction of a 17.5MW Metal Roof Photovoltaic Power Station project located in Jingzhou City, Hubei Province officially kicks off with Mibet Energy being the supplier for the mounting structure. Once completed, it will generate around 24 million kilowatt per hour annually, saving around 8.6 million tons of standard coal each year and reducing approximately 21.44 million tons of carbon dioxide emission. Under the trend that double control of energy consumption becomes new normal, this project will effectively guarantee the continuous and reliable supply of electricity, promote energy-saving and emission-reduction goal set by Hubei province and accelerate national energy transition.

After receiving project requirements from the client, Mibet Energy sends out senior engineers to conduct surveys in Jingzhou right away, measuring and recording the shape of metal roof sheet, distance between roof ribs and exact dimension of roof etc. By running computer 3D model, we single out the most suitable clamp compatible with the roof sheet from our existing ones –Standing Seam 13.

Standing Beam 13 has obtained utility model patent, perfectly matching the metal roof shape of the project with pull-out force more than 1500N according to test result. The channel nut used for this project can be installed quickly in any position of the rail, which will effectively improve the on-site constructive efficiency, shorten construction time and therefore reduce project cost.



As the Chinese manufacturing industry is in the period of rapid development currently, the demand for electricity increases significantly and there is pressing need to construct photovoltaic power station.
